This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team at its foundation. In this role as a Doro Guide you will work directly with individuals with psychosis and serious mental illness (SMI) as well as their families to support and coordinate their care journey. In addition to providing member services, you will work with the Doro Mind internal team to contribute to laying the groundwork for the development of our Guide practice at Doro Mind. We are looking for a candidate with a deep passion for working with families and patients affected by SMI, particularly psychotic disorders. Ideal candidates will have personal experience as a family caregiver to a loved one with schizophrenia or other psychotic illness. Family peer work may include sharing one's own personal journey to encourage and inspire others as they continue on their own recovery journey. The Guide's primary responsibility is to coordinate and facilitate the connection between our members and the clinical team providing care. Doro Guides work directly with prospective and active members to answer questions, track progress on important goals and provide personalized support to members. Strong organizational skills, customer-centric attitude and flexibility are all essential to the role. This is a remote telework role. Both full-time and part-time arrangements are available. This role requires some evening and weekend hours to support members at convenient times. Doro Mind prioritizes hiring people who represent diverse identities, perspectives, and backgrounds. Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, emails, and messages and resolve member and family concerns or requests efficiently and compassionately
• Act as a liaison to support members in connecting the internal Doro Mind clinical team with outside providers, programs, pharmacies and other points of care
• Identify gaps in engagement and proactively work with members to support treatment plan engagement
• Communicate and organize care plans and tasks between Doro Mind clinicians and members
• Manage member schedules, scheduling and rescheduling appointments as needed
• Monitor in-bound messages to provide in-the-moment support to members
• Manage clerical duties to ensure client charts, labwork, and prescriptions are accurately requested and filed
• Contribute to organizing and maintaining a nationwide database of psychiatrists, outpatient programs, and inpatient residential resources to support member care navigation
• Assist members in insurance benefits navigation

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Experience (professional or personal) navigating complex mental health and social services systems for people affected by serious mental illness
• Licensed to provide mental health services (e.g. LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, etc.)
• Experience working directly with families and patients with SMI
• Committed and passionate about developing competency and ethical practice to serve families and communities impacted by SMI
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency and comfort with technical systems (e.g. Google Suite, task management software) and aptitude for learning new technology
• Consistent access to secure and stable internet, computer, and teleconferencing ability
• A private space available for confidential online meetings
• Interest and aptitude for working at a startup and building a practice from the ground up

Preferred Qualifications

• Lived experience as the primary caregiver, sibling, offspring, or similar relationship with an individual with SMI
• Expertise in family psychoeducation for SMI (e.g. multi-family groups, NAVIGATE family FPE, or similar)
• Experience with Crisis Intervention or Crisis Response (hotlines, coaching, etc.)
• Experience working in telehealth and a virtual-first care delivery company
